Diet Journal



How long will the vegetarian diet last?  Oh, if it seems to make big improvements in my life, maybe indefinitely.  Probably two months anyway.  It's been about two weeks.  

And?  


Brunch    Split pea soup. 

Dinner     Split pea soup.  

Split pea soup is very delicious.  It's also inexpensive and easy to make.  

Soak dry split peas overnight.  Rinse the following day, then cover with about 6 cups of water.  Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for an hour or until the peas are mostly dissolved.  Add about two tsp of salt for a small package of peas.  

Lots of things can be added.  Carrots.  Garlic.  Oil.  Cheese.  Potatoes.  Turnips.  

Imagine my shock when I got on the scale and my weight hasn't changed.
