Nearly Halloween

It's what I call, "Halloween Week".   The season lasts from about a week before until three or four days after October 31.  Why is this important?  So you can feel free to eat candy for around 10 days.  Or at least, now and then in that window.

Is it a coincidence that the full moon will be on October 29th, two days from now, and nearly on Halloween?  I think not.  It doesn't always coincide with Halloween though.  What does this mean?  More candy.

What do I plan to give children that come my way for treats?  Probably boiled squid.  Fried octopus.

    1. This is enchanting. It may be too late for me though. I just went wild buying t shirts at Old Navy.

    2. I don't think the flap back pants would work. It sounds good, but it would probably be confusing.

    1. This merits further perusal. Right off the bat though I noticed Old Navy's prices are better. You should check it out. Maybe I should send you a link.

    2. I see the wheels turning in your head. "What to get Mrs. Billingsley for her birthday?"

    3. Whoa. Sweatpants good. But back flaps or side zippers or velcro would just add to the chaos that is the life of Billingsley. Elastic waist good. She dresses herself, and these ideas seem to be geared toward helping caregivers dress someone else. Not a bad idea but not what's going on right now.

    1. She reads a lot and keeps running out of books to read. She's read all the Louis Amore books, who is her favorite author I think. Just some books probably. I'll have to study over what she would like to read.

    2. Along the idea of books, she might enjoy something with a lot of photos. I had a book about Van Gogh with his paintings that she liked. She might enjoy something about Monet with photos of his paintings. Or maybe a print one of Van Gogh's paintings. She said she likes Starry Night. She enjoyed the book I got about Mad Cow disease called Brain Trust.

    3. I wish I could find a birthday cake. The Walmart has run the local bakery out of business, but they don't actually do anything with their bakery. Hey I know!!! Mom has been begging me for bear claws, but I would have to drive 100 miles to a bakery. I bought her some cinnamon buns at Walmart yesterday, but guess what? They were not cooked inside. Raw and gummy. As far as actual pastry, there's no such thing around here. Some bear claws would probably survive the trip.

    4. I'm not worried about the bear claws. We have a great pastry bakery. I found a fruit cake tin and thought... I could make a fruit cake. One recipe says to let the fruit cake sit for four days in an airtight container. Most keto fruit cakes use almond flour and your choice of a sweetener.

    5. What brought on the fruit cake thought? Are you going to make a fruit cake? Have you ever made a fruit cake/. I don't see how a fruit cake could be keto even with almond flour. Oh, maybe you're not talking about a fruit cake. Anyway, I don't think I'll try to make a keto cake, just go ahead and do the standard evil cake. I don't know what I'll do. BTW. Rabbit Man called and asked me all about bear claws. What a coincidence! I couldn't describe it. I know it when I see it

    1. Oh wow. I would say the Mr. Green Jeans cake but it's pick up only. This is fabulous. That chocolate cake is perfect. I think, "Happy Birthday Mrs. Billingsley." Covered in roses.

    4. Thinking about all this has helped me figure out what I need to do about Mrs. Billingsley's birthday. I bought a book from a natto store about fermenting natto. The dear people sent it to me in a brown paper wrapper. Hey! Porn? But anyway, it's all wrapped in a lovely gift manner. I bet that would be the perfect gift

    1. Rabbit Man gets his call privileges back and then goes back on call block on a regular basis.
