Tuna's Beauty Shop Heiress

 

I'm an heiress.  Not for the first time.  Probably not for the last time.  And now what have I been given?

Tuna is still with us, however, she has found it necessary to retire, despite the fact that I told her how to shake her malaise.  N-o NO!  That won't work.  OK.   May I say, Covid 19.  

But...  Tuna is not well enough to continue her great work at the beauty shop.   This truly brings me grief, because she was the reason I didn't have crazy hair most of the time.   Not having crazy hair has been a new experience for me, since before that my hair was crazy most of the time.  There's no place in this world for crazy hair.  I looked like Einstein.  

What was my inheritance?  I was really happy to be given many wonderful pair of hair cutting scissors.  One of them looked iffy, and I mentioned this.  "Oh, those belonged to her late husband..."  OK, they can stay.  They were antique looking, just not sharp looking.  But..I must admit, it's nice to have all these scissors.  Around thirty pair.  

And?  A lot of shoes.  Not my size.  I asked Tuna if she wanted them.  Yes!  OK.  

A lot of hair color in purple boxes.  "Who colors their hair purple?" I asked.  I knew already the color wasn't purple.  Well, I was pretty sure.  

And a hair dryer.  A hot iron....yes!  A lot of creams and lotions....maybe...  Shampoo?  Well, the other beauticians had been given first crack at that.  

I'm all set to go into the beauty business, I thought.
