It was fun. I booked a hotel room in Syracuse but didn't go because of the nightmare reports of lack of food, bad traffic etc. Niagra Falls declared a state of emergency. I stayed home. I still loved it.
Yes, it's too bad things went so crazy, but you seemed to still be close enough for an interesting view.
