Mrs. Billingsley has a nice down jacket that she's had a long time. She gave me one just like it in silver, but I lost it on a trip. Anyway, it's a worthy jacket, but it needed cleaning. I know it's recommended to send it to a dry cleaner, but I didn't want to bother. Besides that, I didn't think it would be very clean. So that left the washing machine. I ran it through the washing machine twice. Next time I'll use the gentle cycle, since it came out of the washing machine with feathers on the outside that had escaped from somewhere. Well, I put it in a pillowcase and put it in the dryer. It's all beautiful and fluffy now by some miracle.
